Multiple:X is an annual Private Equity and Venture Capital Conference endorsed by London Business School. Frequented by figures spearheading the industry, the conference provides a prestigious platform for rich debate, knowledge sharing and networking between prominent professionals and a selection of the brightest students from around the world.

Organised by the LBS PE/VC Club, the event capitalises on the deep industry links and academic stature of London Business School to attract over 400 practitioners and enthusiasts each year, from general partners, limited partners, trusted advisors, students and other industry participants.

Guy Hands is Terra Firma’s Chairman and Founder. He is the Chief Investment Officer and sits on the boards of the general partner of each of the Terra Firma funds and heads Terra Firma’s Executive Committee. Since 1994, Guy has overseen the investment of more than €16 billion in 33 businesses with a total enterprise value of more than €48 billion.



Director, PE & TMT Growth / KKR

Lucian focuses on growth equity and technology private equity investments in Europe and Israel. Since joining KKR in 2007, Lucian has played an important role in KKR’s investments in Trainline, Scout24 Switzerland, and Fotolia. He is currently serving on the boards of Trainline, Arago, Clicktale and Optimal+.



Partner / Index Ventures

Martin focuses on startups which operate in large markets (food, transportation, finance, health, SME) and has worked with many such businesses, including BlaBlaCar and Deliveroo. He serves on the board of Drivy, Rad, TheFamily, and Trainline. Most of his initial investments are Seed and Series A. 



Managing Partner / Balderton Capital

Bernard Liautaud is the Managing Partner of Balderton Capital. Prior to Balderton, Bernard Liautaud founded Business Objects and was CEO for 15 years. Bernard is now a member of the SAP Supervisory Board. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees at Stanford University.

Zeina Bain has been a Managing Director at The Carlyle Group since January 2015. Zeina is a part of the Corporate Private Equity business segment and advises on European buyout opportunities at Carlyle. Zeina is a member of the Board of Directors of the Innovation Group and MPS and observer on the Board of Axalta Coating Systems.
